I never mentioned this earlier, but my art is currently in an art exhibition XD Its called Images 2008, and its held at the Mississauga Civic Center (City Hall). Its from Monday May 12 to Friday May 17, all day.

I just came back from the Open House today (why it was on Tuesday instead of Monday I don't know), and it was pretty awesome. Staring at other people's work made me feel either below par or really amazing XD Cuz no offence to some of the people there, but there was a few (maybe two or three) really bad pieces, in my opinion. One such piece was a shoe painted with acrylics. An interesting idea, but in my opinion, its not really art. But thats my opinion. I was watching while the artist got her picture taken with the shoe by a woman (probably someone with the newspaper). After I realized someone was there taking pictures for a paper, I stayed away from my piece XD I hate getting my photo taken. It was bad enough that my parents made me pose in front of it for our own album. When I get those pictures on the computer I'll post it in my scraps so you can see which of my pieces was being shown.

I was hoping to see my art teacher from last year there. My current art teacher said she would be there today, but I was there for an hour and didn't see her, so either I missed her, or she hadn't shown up yet by the time I left.

I loved hearing all the comments on the art works from people in my class. They were all so appreciative, and for that I'm truly happy. I like knowing that my classmates are getting such good reviews. And before anyone asks, no, I didn't hear any opinions about my art. Again, didn't really pay attention to that.

On a side note, my cosplay is nearing it finale. I need to finish the pockets, shoulder pads, shirt and shoes XD Still quite a bit, I suppose, but I have this coming Monday off, and no German school on Saturday, so my mom and I will probably be working on it all weekend. Again, once I got pictures of it you'll all be shown them, if not by me then by ~iyloverz or *crazy-about-drawing I'll be cosplaying as Sora, Rickaye will be going as Riku, and Dyane will be going as Kairi.

Another side note (Shit, this is turning into a long journal), I happen to have some spare time at the moment, so I'm gonna go through and try to finish Chapter 3 of "A Desert Rose" to send to my lovely beta. If I don't finish it tonight, I won't have it finished until Friday, because I have something I need to do tomorrow (A certain project for Geography *groan*)

Well, this is my update to you. Tons of other shit has happened, but this is the most important stuff right now, other than the fact that I won't be able to talk to Alex for a while, due to him having GCSEs at the moment. They're these mega huuuuuuuuuuuge exams he has to take that will basically determine whether he's gonna go to University or just bumfuck around his parent's house for the rest of his life.
