My entry to the contest at #Myths-and-Legends, which is dedicated to the Brothers Grimm.
We are challenged to create an art piece representing one of their stories. The story I chose is The Three Little Men in the Wood, which is a story about a girl whose stepmother whyisitalwaysthestepmother? clothes her in paper and tells her to go pick strawberries in the wood during winter. Well, she goes, having only a loaf of bread to feed her while she looks, and comes across a cottage, home to three little men. In exchange for some of her bread, they give her strawberries and bless her with beauty, etc.
It's a good story, and not too long either. I highly recommend reading it and other Grimm Tales.
